Gadkhali is the Capital of flowers
Let’s turn to the flower kingdom from Gadkhali in Jessore, from village to village you will see such flower fields, at least 60 percent of the demand for flowers in the country is produced in this Gadkhali.
Gadkhali is a place that Starting from dawn, buying and selling all kinds of flowers, there is no account of how many different kinds of flowers you will find in this market. As soon as you get off the bus, you will be filled with the smell of mixed flowers. The eyes will be covered with the color of the Bahari flower. I was talking about Gadkhali, the largest wholesale flower market in Bangladesh. You can come back from Gadkhali on a one night trip in just one day.
On the horizon are cultivated tuberose, rose, gladiolus, gerbera, sunflower, marigold, and many other unnamed flowers. From there, flowers were collected and brought to the Gadkhali market in bullock carts, auto vans, and bicycles. From Gadkhali, the fragrance of the flower capital reaches different parts of the country including Dhaka. Besides, a lot of flowers are also exported from here.
There are direct buses from Dhaka to Jessore from Gabtali, and from Kadamtali in Sylhet to Jessore. Get off the Jessore bus stand and take a rickshaw to the local bus stand. From there you can get a bus to Godkhali. You can go to Gadkhali and take a van to see the field. Van rent will be 100-150 rupees. As you walk along the village road, you will see flower fields on both sides of the road. The country's largest flower wholesale market sits in the morning next to the bus stand road.
